StabiCAD 8: to excel in BIM

StabiCAD is design software for the building services industry. At the trade fair VSK 2012 that takes place in the Netherlands from  6 to 10 February, Stabiplan will be present. StabiCAD 8 provides the 3D functionality you need to draw complex installations easily.

Moreover, there are a lot of new functionalities added in StabiCAD 8. The most important innovations are:

• Mechanical recesses: generate automatically recesses for air ducts, sewer systems and central heating pipes.
• Central Heating Calculation: calculate diameters and pressure losses from a central heating system according to industry standards.
• StabiBASE in the cloud: a preview – your projects available not worrying about organizing and managing your projects.
• Draw using the compass: the crosshair is presented as a compass to draw an installation quickly under frequently used angles.
• Learn attribute positions: let StabiCAD ‘learn’ where to place the attributes for sanitary equipment and air grids.

StabiCAD 8 for Revit
We present StabiCAD 8 for Revit MEP. This software offers the same design convenience as StabiCAD 8 for AutoCAD. Because of the Product Line Importer, users of StabiBASE have the same product databases for sanitary, sewer, ventilation, CH, pipes and plant rooms as in StabiCAD 8 for AutoCAD.
