StabiCAD 8 is standard software for the building industry. That includes technical databases to ensure you can add installation components to your drawings. Selecting intelligent symbols directly from a complete library speeds up your projects. While placing the symbols, you can decide which panel and circuit a symbol is to be placed on.
 
In the mean time StabiCAD provides flexibility: you can adjust symbol properties and build a symbol library adjusted to your preferences.
Just a few examples:

• Build up your own symbol library: add product codes and manufacturer name to standard symbols.
• Make a library with your own power codes: these codes are not just texts but real codes in the drawing and the power value is used in the installation diagram.
• Coding of data points: first choose the structure of the numbering and then give all the placed data points its own code automatically.

Extra result of your drawing effort: detailed reports and bills of material that you can use in other business processes such as calculation and purchasing.
