More flexibility

The accuracy of StabiCAD drawings is ensured by the use of standard or specific product lines. In his drawings, the installation engineer has the possibility to use symbols of real products, checked for conformity, allowing him to obtain an accurate project and ease the access to the next stages: calculation, reporting, etc.

Besides the constructive parameters of the objects, these catalogs include also article and EAN numbers, which are very useful when purchasing the components from suppliers. In addition, StabiCAD 8 offers the possibility to change the constructive parameters of the drawn object in order to cover an eventual shortage of some products from the catalog or to use a custom made object.

All of this is basic functionality in StabiCAD 8. Recently, Stabiplan decided to extend the flexibility of StabiCAD 8 by implementing new functionality for the maintenance of the product lines by the users. In the latest StabiCAD 8 releases, the user can define and import his own product line. This is done by using common excel files, without any complicated procedures.
