StabiCAD 8 in other countries

15-07-2010

It’s vacation season in The Netherlands, and many of our compatriots are on expeditions in other countries. StabiCAD 8 participates too; not with the vacation, but with going abroad. With France as a popular destination, along with the security of Belgium and our further exploration of Romania, there’s more to it than meets the eye, because one installation branch isn’t the other.

To make StabiCAD 8 suitable for use in other countries, you need to become familiar with the market. That means getting to know the culture and the way of working and, together with businesses in this sector, exploring how StabiCAD can be of added value. But also the technical differences, such as differences in drawing, presenting, and use of symbols and norms must be translated to localized functionality. And finally, it’s quite a translation job:  every screen and every command must pass muster.

These efforts are beginning to bear fruit. You can read the story of Pierre Feller from Les Trois Techniques in Walloon (in French).

We wish you a fine summer!
