5. What’s Revit?

Revit is a construction design software produced by Autodesk. It sets out the Architecture, Structure and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) options. Revit MEP has been adapted by Stabicad for the ‘localised’ market with enhanced functions. The most significant of which include: drawing and calculation standards, ‘base families’ (symbol libraries) in 2D and 3D, links with diagrams, the use of StabiBASE, updated suppliers’ catalogues particularly with 3D elements. In all European countries where Stabiplan can operate, it is guaranteed to be adapted to local standards.
