The MEP community of Stabiplan is expanding rapidly. More and more BIMme accounts are being created. Very handy, of course, because that means that you can ask your questions to even more people. But it's not so convenient if you don't speak the same language. That's why we introduce a new feature in BIMme: automatic translations.
BIMme automatic translations
BIMme checks which language you have set. If you are logged in to BIMme, you will find your language settings by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner and then choosing 'My settings'. From now on, all discussions/questions that are not asked in your language will automatically be translated for you! We use machine translation for this, so it is possible that the translation is not 100% correct. It’s always indicated when a message has been translated.
Communicating in your own language
The nice thing is that you can always respond in your own language to a (translated) question. The questioner will see your answer in his/her own language thanks to BIMme's automatic translations. This makes it easy to communicate with people who speak a different language!
Prefer not having automatic translations? You can disable this new feature under 'My profile'. Click on 'Edit' and uncheck 'Translate discussions automatically'.
