SQL Server 2005 sollutions

End of support for SQL Server 2005

SQL Server 2005 will no longer be supported as of Stabicad 10.15. The reason for this is that Microsoft has stopped supporting it.
Read below about what you can do if you still use SQL Server 2005.

SQL Server 2005 Local
The update to Stabicad 10.15 checks whether SQL Server 2005 is being used. When this is the case, installation of SQL Server 2012 will be proposed or the opportunity will be given to select an existing SQL installation that is higher than SQL Server 2005. After this, the Stabicad installation will convert the database from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2012 or the other selected SQL installation. If this is not done, it is not possible to update to Stabicad 10.15.

SQL Server 2005 Network
If you use SQL Server 2005 on the server, then SQL Server 2008 / SQL Server 2008 R2 / SQL 2012 or SQL 2014 should be installed. You can install MS SQL Server 2012 through the Stabicad installation wizard > Tools. This lets you create a new SQL Instance and copy the database from SQL Server 2005 to this SQL Instance. The database will have to be copied from SQL Server 2005 to the new SQL Server 2012.
