Stabicad supports welding loss for PE completely from version 11.07, with a separate autorouting weld family that is available on MEPcontent.
With this new family it is possible to incorporate welding loss or welding gain within piping systems for custom nodes. The family can be used with our Connect into function to connect two elements, resulting in a welding loss or gain. The weld settings in the family are predefined for PE sewerage systems. The family can also be used in other systems by overriding the thirteen Diameter and Welding Thickness Diameter parameters. You can define the preferred welding thickness per diameter as seen in the video. The family is also supported in calculations.
