BIM project or simple 2D drawing? Stabicad offers you the ability to quickly and effectively design and manage all mechanical systems. Through the tool Palettes, the MEP engineer has access to mechanical installation elements and design functionality with a single mouse click. Each element contains a (generic) 3D display. Stabicad ensures that you can obtain optimum efficiency out of your BIM project. Through web services like MEPcontent, elements can be enriched with trade information and detailed display. While designing, the MEP engineer continuously has access to smart engineering functions, such as automatic distribution of air terminals over a space, node resolver, modifying all the data through double click and calculations according to the standard.
Within Stabicad thousands of articles and families in accordance with local and European standards are available via MEPcontent.
During designing, the node resolver shows various solutions for connecting pipes and ducts. All offered possibilities are actually feasible and consist of the correct article information.
With the Stabicad calculation modules, you calculate your systems based on local standards. Also the generation of a report, a calculation overview and export options to various extensions are included.
Mechanical engineering concepts can be visualized in schematic overviews with unique coding with the functionality of Mechanical Diagrams.
Anyone who has ever tried to create prefab sets in "plain" Revit or AutoCAD knows that this is a time-consuming task. It is often claimed that prefab saves time in construction but that more time is actually needed in the preparation. We were asked by the market to develop a solution.
Systems such as ducts and pipes become dynamic with Stabicad Autorouting. When you adjust the dimensions of a system, specific proprieties (such as the article number) automatically change with it.
