Product Improvement and User Data

If you consent to Trimble collecting error and user information, Stabicad will collect basic information to support diagnosis of application errors and inform development of product usage and improvements. This may include the email address and user’s name.

If you do not consent to Trimble collecting this information, Stabicad will still collect basic information to support diagnosis of application errors and inform development of product usage and improvements. However, this will not include the email address or user’s name. Additionally, selecting this option may prevent the user from receiving a more tailored product experience and some Stabicad product communications.

Error Reports

Should an error occur, your consent will help in the diagnosis and resolution. Your consent enables Stabicad to collect “local information” (a crash log file, crash dump file and a registry file). This information is used to analyse and solve issues, providing Trimble with the insight needed to help improve Stabicad. In exceptional cases, Trimble might contact your company regarding your error report.

This “local information” contains version number, edition, license number, company name and computer user name. This information is essential to determine what caused an issue and the user that experienced it.

Product Improvement 

By consenting to collection of user information for Product Improvement, you are helping Trimble understand how you use Stabicad and how it is performing. This insight helps in the continuous product improvement of Stabicad. The information collected is limited to understanding which Stabicad features are used and how they performed.

If you consent to sharing your email address and name, we may have the opportunity to offer a more tailored product experience based on your usage.Trimble will also benefit from understanding how you use the product.

User Data

If you do not consent to Stabicad’s collection of information, any usage information collected by Stabicad will be anonymous - it will not include the user’s name or email address and will therefore not be individually identifiable. This will however limit Stabicad’s ability to provide directly pertinent information to you as an individual user.

If you consent to Stabicad’s collection of information, Stabicad will collect basic information including the user’s name and the associated email address. This allows Trimble to more accurately diagnose errors,  implement improvements and provide a more efficient customer service. Please note that this information is collected solely for the purposes of understanding use of Stabicad and delivering the best possible experience to users. It is not shared within or outside of Trimble for any other purpose.

Consent

As a user, you are asked to provide consent for data collection during software installation. You also have the option to provide or withdraw consent at any time by visiting the StabiBASE settings screen (Manage > StabiBASE Settings > Feedback).

We use Gainsight Inc. as a service provider for the purposes of managing Stabicad product usage data. Otherwise, unless legally required to do so and/or in the event this is necessary to protect its rights, Trimble will not transfer any of the information described above to any third parties.
